Weather
Cheyenne is located at an elevation of 6,063 feet and its climate is considered High Plains. It rarely rains and we see the sun nearly 250 days a year. There are four seasons with summer and fall being absolutely spectacular.
The average July high temperature is 84 degrees while the average low in January is 17 degrees. Winters can be windier than most places due to our location just east of the Rocky Mountains. Summers feature long days with low humidity. For the most part you’ll find a comfortable climate with fewer than 10 days that are considered extremely hot or cold.
